Thank you to everyone who attended BG's Volunteer Celebration & AGM last night. đź’š

A special shout out to the volunteers who were recognized yesterday evening for their incredible contributions to helping the planet locally. You are all shining stars and truly deserved to be celebrated. To those who could not attend, we missed you and are so grateful for everything you do.

Thank you as well to the community members, volunteers, staff, and board members who spent the evening with us. Because of your time, energy, and commitment, BurlingtonGreen was able to expand its impact throughout 2025, and we have already been busy delivering programs, events, and opportunities in 2026, with much more still to come.

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing people share what inspires them to take action for the planet. It was wonderful to see everyone connecting with one another through a shared love for the environment and our community.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. 🌿

Meet Luke đź’š
What inspires him to act for the planet? Future generations.

He wants future generations—including his future nieces and nephews—to enjoy access to green spaces, clean water, transportation choices, and the cultural experiences that help make our communities vibrant and connected.

His actions are rooted in a simple belief: future generations deserve the same opportunities and quality of life that we enjoy today.

At BurlingtonGreen, we believe every action starts with love — for our families, our communities, and the future we're helping to shape.

Inspired by the powerful production What You Won't Do for Love by Why Not Theatre and the David Suzuki Foundation, we're asking our community: What inspires you to act for our planet?

Share your "why" in the comments or tag us in your own video.
