Lucy is a beautiful Shepherd mix who is equal parts brains, affection, and puppy enthusiasm. This smart, curious girl loves learning new things and is incredibly food motivated, making her a fantastic training partner. She picks up on routines quickly and is already working hard on her manners.

She's practicing sitting politely and waiting for permission before taking treats, but sometimes her inner teething puppy still makes an appearance. She's eager to learn and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement.

She's a very social puppy who loves people and is described as cat-friendly, affectionate, friendly, playful, and eager to be part of whatever you're doing. Lucy has not shown any prey drive and enjoys making new human friends.

Like many young puppies, Lucy is still building confidence when left on her own. She may whine or bark briefly in her crate or pen, even when her people are nearby, but she settles quickly and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. She's continuing to learn that alone time is safe and temporary.

Lucy is looking for a family ready to continue her training, provide plenty of mental enrichment, and help her grow into the amazing dog she's already showing herself to be. With her intelligence, loving personality, and eagerness to learn, Lucy is sure to make a wonderful companion.

Meet and Greets will be held in the Whitby, Ontario region. Her adoption fee is $900 which includes up to date vetting, including her spay by our preferred vet after she reaches 6 months of age and microchip.

Imagine growing up from a puppy to an 8m old dog all the time in foster care. Knowing that your siblings and your mom all got adopted before you and leave you thinking why?

Is it because I only have 1 eye?
It can’t be because I am so affectionate and loving and playful. It can’t be because I love all the seasons and don’t put up a fuss if I’m inside or outside. It can’t be because I play well with other dogs…. So why does no one want to adopt me?

It is beyond us why Jack the Halloween litter has not been scooped up yet! Can you help us share his video and see if we can get him an application.
