We’ve been hard at work welcoming new members, building their skills, and providing the hands-on training needed to prepare them for whatever challenges may come their way.

Every training session, every new skill, and every dedicated volunteer helps us grow stronger as a team and better prepared to serve our community and surrounding areas.

Ever Wonder What Happens When Search and Rescue Gets the Call?

Behind every search and rescue response is a team of dedicated volunteers ready to answer the call!

From the initial call for assistance to notifying our members and mobilizing our team, every step plays an important role in bringing someone home safely.

Our volunteers leave behind their everyday lives, families, and responsibilities to help those in need, often at a moment’s notice.

We may be volunteers, but our commitment to our community never clocks out!

When someone is lost, missing or in distress, trained search and rescue volunteers help strengthen the response.

Across Canada, volunteers contribute specialized skills, local knowledge and additional capacity across air, ground and sea search and rescue.

Their service is invaluable, particularly across Canada’s vast size, terrain, coastline, and challenging weather conditions.
