That moment is where preparation either shows up or it doesn’t.

It’s easy to assume there will be time to figure things out. In reality, when stress is high, even simple decisions can feel harder than they should.

A plan doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs to be clear. Knowing who to contact if you’re separated, where you would go, and what matters enough to take with you is what makes the difference when things move quickly.

Add a basic emergency kit, and you’ve already removed a lot of the uncertainty that comes with those first few minutes.

Emergency Preparedness Week is a good time to put something in place that your household can rely on.

Because when something does happen, you don’t want to be starting from zero.

New course date for Primitive fire/water/shelter. This coming May 16th !!
We are going a bit further north this time to the banks of the Athabasca, to be out of the fire ban areas, and into the cool country.
This new area allows for new tree species, better medicinal and fire making mushroom gathering, more water purification tech.
Plus, a dive into cordage /rope making with local plant species.
