What an eek-citing and fang-tastic Spooky Themed Wine Tasting fundraiser our guests were brave enough to attended! Signature Spirits in Beaumont strongly supported this event with eerily delicious wines, door prize baskets, a gift card for best costume and a lovely bottle of wine to auction. Upi from Festa Catering ensured all the ghouls and goblins were fed up with an awe-mazing variety of tasty treats. Thanks to all for your fun-tastic support!

Friends of Beaumont and Literacy Society invite you to our SPOOKY Wine Tasting Fundraiser on Friday, October 24 from 7-10 pm at the 50+ Club in Beaumont.

Join us for a hauntingly delightful evening where Will from Signature Wine and Spirits promises five wickedly good pours with frightfully fun food pairings by Festa Catering. For the reasonable price of $40 the only thing scary is how much you will love the wine!

Don’t be afraid! Come dressed for the occasion – there will be prizes!

Note that space is limited and the non-refundable payment is required by October 17.

The Friends of Beaumont and Literacy Society (formerly Friends of the Library) is holding our fourth annual Growing Smiles Plant Fundraiser to support our Beaumont community and literacy initiatives while also beautifying your garden! We are nearing our order deadline date of May 5; however, we are nowhere near our fundraising goals and we hope you are encouraged to order through this program.

To give you an idea of what you can actually expect, peruse the photos from the 2024 Growing Smiles campaign.

Deadline to order is May 5, with pick up at the 50+ Club (outdoors near the north end garage, 5204A-50 Avenue) on Tuesday, May 20 (exact time is dependent on delivery and will be communicated to purchasers).

Who knew there were so many types, flavours and levels of fiery-ness in tequila, agave and mezcal? Guests at our March 15 tequila tasting fundraiser soon learned, thanks to Elyse from Vine Arts and the great variety she and Jess presented. Tasty snacks, a lively tequila auction and LOTS of laughter rounded out the evening. ARRIBA!

SPIRIT TASTING FUNDRAISER, MARCH 15

Elyse from Vine Arts will provide an exciting exploration of the diverse world of agave. From Jalisco to Oaxaca, we'll dive into the nuances of mezcal and tequila production, uncovering the differences, similarities, and passionate traditions upheld by the producers who continue to shape and elevate their craft. In addition to five tastings, food and fun are also included for the reasonable price of $40!
