🛶☀️ One of those summer evenings you wish could last a little longer.

With beautiful weather and calm water, our Beavers headed out to explore Jordan Harbour alongside the Scouts, travelling beneath the old railway bridge and enjoying a unique view of the harbour. It's always rewarding to see youth gain confidence while trying something new.

A perfect night on the water, great company, and plenty of smiles. What Scouting is all about🌊😊🦫

🦫 YARD SALE! 🛍️

The 1st Beamsville Beavers are hosting a Yard Sale on Saturday, June 20th from 8 AM – 12 PM at the Scout Hut (4331 Spruce St., Beamsville) ☔ Rain or🌞Shine!

All proceeds go directly to supporting our Beaver Scouts and their adventures!

What an epic way to wrap up the year! 🎉

Our Beavers ended the season with friendship, laughter, and ice cream sundaes, and one seriously fun water gun battle. 💦 The weather tried to keep us guessing, but it didn’t win this week. We beat the storm and had an absolute blast!

We also celebrated our Beavers earning second place in a recent fundraiser. To celebrate a job well done, the kids got to pie a leader in the face! 🥧 A huge thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising efforts and helped make moments like this possible.

Here’s to a scouting year full of big smiles, silly moments, and memories our Beavers will carry with them.

Next up, canoe safety and summer fun! 🛶☀️

A big thank you to Charlie-Bee Honey for visiting the 1st Beamsville Beavers tonight and bringing along a live observation hive.🐝

It gave our Beavers an up-close look at a working bee colony, and our Scouter Rainbow 🌈 guided the group through the life cycle of a bee, the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystem, and how we can take steps to support them. The Beavers even learned the Bee dance, inspired by the waggle dance bees use to communicate.

We're grateful to Charlie Bees 🍯🐝for helping make this kind of community-connected learning possible.

🌟 What a Weekend! 1st Beamsville Beavers Star Camp 🌟

Our Beaver Scouts had a weekend full of fun, friendship, and adventure at Star Camp!

🌧️ Rain couldn’t stop us!🎨 We got creative making our own Star Flashlights, then kept the fun going with games like tug-of-war, board games and plenty of team challenges and still fit in a few hikes. The room was full of laughter, and our Beavers showed their amazing spirit from start to finish! ❤️ It was also decided that Rascal is officially the best chef on Earth, cooking up the tastiest hot dogs anyone’s ever had! 🌭🔥

We were excited to welcome members of the The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada who brought along some seriously impressive telescopes and a whole lot of cosmic knowledge! The Beavers learned about the stars above us and got hands-on time with a telescope! 🌙✨

A huge thank you to our guests from the RASC for inspiring the next generation of stargazers. Who knows, we may have a future astronomer or two in our midst!

Last week at Beavers, we explored Trail Skills 1 and practiced navigating with a compass 🥾🧭

The Beavers learned how to read a compass, practiced direction finding, and put their skills to the test through fun movement games and challenges. Lots of teamwork, lots of laughs, and a whole lot of energy in the hut.

One of our Beavers, Molly, said it best on the way home, “That was the funnest meeting.” That’s exactly what we love to hear.

Great job, Beavers 👏
