Amherstburg Community Services ACS is a non-profit charitable organization serving the communities of Amherstburg, LaSalle, Harrow & McGregor.

Our mission is to improve the overall quality of life and social well-being of our community and its surrounding areas. All of us have seen others struggle; whether its a neighbour having a hard time paying their energy bills, a parent who is losing their mobility with age, or friend coping with anxiety. ACS is committed to helping these friends, family, and neighbours cope with their struggles an

d make the most of whatever situation they find themselves in. We support residents of Amherstburg, LaSalle, Harrow, and McGregor by providing over 20 different services. If you or someone you know needs a helping hand, give us a call and we'll make sure you get the support you need.

A huge thank you to Suhann from North Star High School for spending time with us at Amherstburg Community Services as part of his CO-OP placement!

Throughout his placement, Suhann played an important role in supporting our Food Bank operations by sorting and dating donations, helping to ensure that all food items were safe and within their best before dates before reaching our clients. His attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to help made a meaningful contribution to our team and the community members we serve.

We are grateful for all of his hard work and dedication, and we wish him continued success in his future studies and endeavors.

This morning, ACS was proud to attend the National AccessAbility Week flag raising hosted by the Town of Amherstburg at the Libro Credit Union Centre.

It was inspiring to see everyone come together on Red Shirt Day to celebrate inclusion, raise awareness, and pledge their support for accessibility year-round.
