202 Fort Malden RCACC - ACR Practice Day

We would like to thank the AMA Sportsmen Association, for their continued support and generosity towards our Free Youth Leadership Program.

Today, our cadets practiced for their Annual Ceremonial Review, with all their efforts focused on looking sharp this coming Wednesday evening.

Upon completion, our corps enjoyed a BBQ together on the patio. What a great way to complete an important practice.

Great work cadets, and thank you AMA Sportsmen's Club for use of their facilities, and our Support Committee members for facilitating a lovely day.

202 RCACC - Receives New Corps Flag

Wednesday 03 June 26 - With community support, our Support Committee's amaizing fundraising efforts, our cadets efforts and a wonderful donation from The Royal Canadian Legion Fort Malden Branch 157, we were able to purchase a much needed Corps Flag.

"Royal Canadian Army Cadets' Flag. Prior to the Second World War, no specific design of flag was designated. A cadet flag finally was authorized in Canadian Army General Order 219 of May 1944, and a new design of this flag was approved by the Sovereign in January 1973. Individual corps devices may be borne on this flag" www.canada.ca

Royal Canadian Legion Emblem: Representing our main sponsor and supporter, RCL Br #157

Windsor Regiment Cap Badge: Representing our affiliation with the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserve Unit

RCAC Maple Leaf: The Royal Canadian Army Cadet badge: a prominent maple leaf with "RCAC" inscribed on it, surmounted by the Royal Crown, and a scroll at the bottom featuring the motto "Acer Acerpori".

Canadian Flag: Our beloved country.

Promotions, awards and training level badges were recently awarded to many of our dedicated cadets.
