A Meal for All A MEAL FOR ALL strives to build community by providing opportunities to gather and share food. Food insecurity is a reality for many in our community.

There are a number of programs and services available to help individuals and families in need throughout Mississippi Mills. These supports are loosely connected and are often unknown by many who could benefit from them. A MEAL FOR ALL strives to build community awareness and support throughout our community by providing opportunities to gather, share wholesome food and connect. Starting small, we

are excited to announce the launch of our free weekly breakfast program in
Almonte this spring. Our hope is that the A MEAL FOR ALL initiative will grow to serve
additional communities in Mississippi Mills and offer greater connections to the other social
and economic resources already in place. A MEAL FOR ALL is a grassroots organization made up of members from local faith
communities, community service organizations, and businesses, with the support of Public Health and the Lanark County Food Bank.

Hello neighbours!

We are hoping you can help us restock the Community Pantry in the Almonte Public Library. Over the last weeks we have seen a significant increase in people using the Pantry to top up their weekly groceries. That's what it's there for, but we now need more donations to keep up with demand.

All shelf stable items are welcome, however NO GLASS containers and no homemade goodies.

Please drop off what you are able to share in the donation bins in the Pantry cupboard at the Library.

Many thanks to our generous community and of course the amazing Library staff!

Last Thursday, May 7th, we celebrated our 3rd Birthday at the Community Breakfast.

Over the past 3 years we have served over 8,000 meals!!!

Everyone involved in the A Meal for All programs believes in the importance of acceptance, community and sharing.

Living proof that each of us makes a positive difference!!!
