Tomorrow is the annual Baden Powell Pancake breakfast at the Almonte Civitan Club, 500 Almonte St, Almonte, ON K0A 1A0, from 8:00AM until 11:30AM. Enjoy a delicious meal of pancakes. bacon, sausages, eggs, fruit, and beverages, all prepared and served by your local scouts, then tour the display of memorabilia collected by Scouter Bill Lawrence. All proceeds help your local scouting organization.

Seniors (60+): $10.00
Age 13 - 59: $15.00
Age 4 - 12: $10.00
3 and under: free

Three weeks ago, the cub scouts were looking for animal tracks around the Mill of Kintail, when they discovered this print in the snow. Could it be the legendary Sasquatch? Hmm....

2024 has been a busy year so far. Both cubs and scouts have held their winter camps, and yesterday both groups had an excellent adventure hiking up Blueberry Mountain. Cubs roasted hot dogs over a campfire, while scouts cooked bacon and eggs over their twig stoves. It's great to enjoy the outdoors.

Merry Christmas from 2nd Almonte Scouting. We haven't posted for quite a while, but we plan to fix that. Starting Boxing Day we will provide posts showing what cubs and scouts have been up to this fall on a month by month basis, Meanwhile Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
