Our after school programs are about so much more than homework. They give children a safe place to learn, play, build friendships, and simply be children.

Each session provides a warm, nutritious meal, homework support, and emotional and spiritual encouragement from caring teachers and volunteers who take the time to listen, explain, and help each child grow.

For many children, these clubs provide a safe place where they are supported, encouraged, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Zef* isn't the only child in his family determined to learn.

All six children are in school, from six-year-old Zef to 17-year-old Genta. Every day, they walk long distances to school in the cold and rain because there's no money for transport.

"It's not easy, especially when it's cold or wet, but we go because we want to learn," says 16-year-old Gjyle*. ""We want to have a different life.""
