Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry Serving children affected or infected by HIV/AIDS and their communities. Our biggest projects are in Ndola, Zambia.

Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry™ started in 1995 after hearing about the plight of children orphaned because of AIDS. In 1996 Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry™ opened the first home for HIV/AIDS children in Thailand. Since that time, we have been involved in bringing aid to children in several countries. The Buseko Children's Home is the first and currently the only Home in Zambia specifically

for HIV/AIDS affected or infected children. To ensure that our children have a good education and the tools to succeed in life we have built our own school; Grace Academy continues in this innovative and pioneering ministry. Grace Academy is the only boarding school in the world today that caters specifically to HIV/AIDS affected or infected children. We are able to provide excellent medical care and antiretroviral therapy (ARV's) for all our HIV positive children. Our vision is to raise leaders and the way to do this is through education and opportunity. Our aim is to save the lives of children by the care we provide and to give sustainable hope for the children and their communities by the programs we put in place.

Meet Judith

Judith was born on April 26, 2026, with a cleft lip and cleft palate, requiring special care and medical support from the very beginning of life. After being discharged from the hospital, Judith was not able to remain with family and was placed in care.
On May 29, 2026, Judith was welcomed into Seeds of Hope Children’s Ministry at Buseko Home, where Judith is now safe and being cared for in a loving, family-style environment.
Judith still needs ongoing medical attention, proper nutrition, and daily support to grow and thrive.

Comfort’s story begins with deep loss, as his mother passed away shortly after giving birth. With no parent to care for him, he was left in the care of his elderly grandmother who, despite her love, was unable to meet the needs of such a young child.
Recognizing his vulnerability, Comfort's grandmother released him to another orphanage where he received immediate support and care. Just a few days later, on March 29, 2026, Comfort was transferred to Seeds of Hope Children’s Ministry, where he now lives in Buseko House at Grace Academy—in a nurturing, family-style environment where he can grow and feel secure.
Since arriving at Buseko House, Comfort has settled in well. He is adjusting to his new surroundings and is surrounded by caregivers who are committed to providing stability, love, and encouragement.
Comfort now has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and build a brighter future.

Please drop them off at our office in Chilliwack or contact the office if you are in Abbotsford or Mission and we will arrange to pick them up. Just 2 months old, Miracle came to Seeds of Hope from another orphanage with little information about her past.
Today, at Buseko Home (“house of joy”), she is safe, deeply loved, and doing well—but her story is only just beginning.
Buseko Home is where we care for our youngest children in a nurturing, family-style environment, providing everything they need—from medical care to a place to grow, learn, and belong.

But Miracle still needs sponsors to stand with her and help provide for her future.

Every child in our Buseko home will receive their very own doll, along with a collection of outfits to love. Our hope is to have multiple outfits for each doll.

We’re looking for handmade doll outfits (we already have the dolls) to help bring this vision to life:
