AI seems like an "off-set programmed technology;' something that does not exist, without having been pre-programmed. Humans have been given not only a body, and a mind, but also a spirit. How the spirit interacts with the mind and heart and will, and the body, is something that AI does not address. How the embodiment of a physical body, that holds the mind, and the will and the spirit and the heart, and volition, and moral capacity, makes the human being much more different and completely other, than something that we as humans would ever have capacity to create. What God made in humans, is not possible to replicate, but is is possible to be like God, and create things, but not the things that have to do with life." (RTNSOT, Mike Epp) In this short clip, John Lennox explains important ideas to think about, when it comes, not only to Judeo-Christian ethics and technology, but what things in our modern moment, that fall shamefully short, of anything that God has constitutionally made and created, even though humanity in our likeness to God, in our creativity, have tried to duplicate. We cannot be deceived, that we can do what God did, or does. And it is a deception to think that we can. And when truth factors are measured against such ideas, it shows how short we fall, not only in our product, but also in our intentions to be something that created beings were never meant to do. As such, we are called to be like God, but we will never have the capacity to be God. What about calling? Can AI, call into being someone like Abram, and make into a nation and purpose that encompasses the cosmos and all the nations to be realized through an incarnation? AI, would need to exist before all things that exist. That is why, AI will always be an off-set, programmed technology, and a product of an entity that has been made in the image of God, and nothing more than that.
