Alle opbrengsten van het evenement gaan rechtstreeks naar Serve the City ter ondersteuning van vrijwilligersprojecten overal in België.

👉 Kirikou is an organisation that helps make sure children’s clothes, toys and baby gear don’t go to waste and reach families who need them most.

💚 Thanks to a dedicated network of volunteers and partners, they support nearly a thousand families each year! This makes a tangible difference for children across Leuven.

📅 On 30 May, we're joining forces with Kirikou for a big group effort, and we’d love to show up in strong numbers.

💪 No experience needed, just bring your hands and your enthusiasm. I'll bring snacks!

Huge thank you to all volunteers who joined the clothes swap organised by MAAKbar vzw 💙

Together, we sorted an incredible 4,850 items of clothing, and 3/4 of them found a brand new home - a new record for this initiative! That’s thousands of pieces getting a second life instead of going to waste.

Big shoutout to Maakbar for another successful edition of the clothes swap, and to every volunteer who made it possible. We couldn’t have done it without you. 💪✨

We dromen ervan om STC Leuven verder te laten groeien, onze impact te verdiepen en nog meer mensen in de stad te bereiken.

Leuven biedt heel wat kansen om je in te zetten als vrijwilliger, maar met onze huidige capaciteit kunnen we niet inspelen op alle noden die we zien.

👉 Daarom zamelen we geld in om een Programma- & Vrijwilligerscoördinator aan te werven voor STC Leuven.

✨ En 2026, het Internationaal Jaar van het Vrijwilligerswerk, is hét moment om te investeren in mensen en gemeenschap.

Ons doel 🎯 = €30.000 ophalen tegen eind 2026

Zo kunnen we een deeltijdse medewerker voor één jaar aanwerven.
