ESN Leuven is the main organisation responsible for guiding international students around Leuven by organising amazing events such as parties, trips, quizzes, the famous cantuses and many more. This page will be your guide, news station, event notifier and meme deliverer in order to make your time in Leuven the best time of your life. ESN Leuven is part of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), which

is one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange. It is present in more than 800 Higher Education Institutions in 39 countries.The network is constantly developing and expanding. Follow us to stay up to date with our activities and life in Leuven. 🎓 END OF EXAMS WEEK IS HERE 🎉

The exams are (almost) over, your brain has survived, and it’s time to replace lecture halls with good vibes. As every reasonable student eventually does.

To celebrate the end of the semester, we’ve put together a full week of activities: from a pub crawl to a picnic, karaoke, bowling and of course the legendary Triple Cantus. 🍻🎤🎳☀️

Our ESN Leuven office will be closing for the exams and summer break! We wish everyone a fantastic holiday and the absolute best of luck with your upcoming exams. ☀️🍀

We are already looking forward to celebrating the end of the semester with you at our after-exam week, so keep an eye out for those announcements coming very soon!

ESNcards: Need to secure your ESNcard for the upcoming academic year? You can still order it online via the link in our bio! Please note that any ESNcards purchased during the summer break can only be picked up starting from our Orientation Days in September. All info will be communicated after your purchase, including your ESNcard number.

🫶🏻 Volunteer of the Month alert 🫶🏻

A huge shoutout and thank you to our volunteer of the month of April, Nik ( ), for his dedication and help to the organisation. As part of the Trips Workgroup, he constantly showed a lot of initiative and diligence, helping at many of our events with a smile and a positive attitude to always lighten up the mood!

He is always ready to do the hard work, help out wherever is needed and keep both volunteers and participants engaged in our events. As a volunteer and a friend to always count on, thank you Nik! 🫶🏻

It’s getting hot. The beer is cold. The vibes are louder than ever. ☀️🍻

This is your ultimate summer cantus, where sunburn turns into sing-alongs and every song hits like it’s the anthem of the night. Expect chaotic energy, questionable vocals, and zero shame as we scream our way through the hottest tracks and biggest throwbacks.

If you’ve ever lost your voice on a summer night, danced like no one’s watching (everyone is), or turned one drink into ten… this is your place.

Join us for a hands-on Visible Mending Workshop, where repair becomes art. Instead of hiding tears and worn spots, you’ll learn how to highlight them with creative stitching techniques that give your garments new life and personality.

In this workshop, you’ll discover:
Basic hand-sewing and mending techniques
Decorative stitches for visible repairs (like sashiko-inspired patterns)
How to patch and reinforce worn fabric
Tips for extending the life of your clothes sustainably

Whether you’re a complete beginner or already handy with a needle, this session is all about slowing down, getting creative, and embracing imperfections.

✨ Bring a piece of clothing that needs repair — jeans, sweaters, or anything with a story!
All other materials will be provided.

If you just want to cheer(s) 🍺 on your friends, you can also grab a cup of knowledge at our bar, alcoholic or non-alcoholic.
