Long time no IROICA webinar 😉

This time, we've decided to offer our members a webinar in a training format, something that we could all put to use in difficult situations, so let us present:

"ACTIVE BYSTANDER TRAINING"
April 24th at 09:00–12:00 CET

Have you ever witnessed behaviour that made you - or someone around you - feel uneasy? Would you like practical strategies to step in with confidence?

During this 3-hour training organised by Ghent University, you will:

👉 Gain a clear understanding of what constitutes inappropriate or transgressive behaviour.
👉 Explore the dynamics at play when witnessing problematic situations - both as an individual and within a group.
👉 Learn how to respond constructively and effectively as an active bystander.
👉 Discover where you can find support, whether at Ghent University or within your own institution or organisation.

The trainer is Danielle Wouters, HR Advisor for Wellbeing and Engagement at Ghent University.

Last week, the IROICA Executive Committee had the great opportunity to visit the beautiful town of Saint Jean de Luz 🇫🇷 for our winter meeting. We were there just in time for the windy and powerful storm Pedro 👍 🌧️

The setting was perfect for fruitful and productive discussions about this year’s staff training (we’re all in for a treat!😉), about our other activities (webinars coming up!) and we got to check in on our progress over the last year and also think about what’s next.

All in all, a good meeting in even better company 🤗
