We are very happy to have such diverse, inclusive and innovative patient-centered project selected for this edition of PainW.I.S.E. Grant and we hope that the outcomes will help across learn more about the specific conditions but also share best practices on how to approach awareness, support and management.

Our 2nd Winner for the PainW.I.S.E Grant this year is the inspiring Pain Café Ireland initiative.
By creating warm, community-based spaces for people living with chronic pain, this project fosters connection, peer support, and social inclusion. A promising model for strengthening community empowerment across Ireland and beyond.

The project leader Smart presented the project at our AGM and we are all very eager to learn about the initiative outcomes in the future!

On December 16th 2025, we held our Annual General Meeting and had the pleasure of reconnecting with colleagues, collaborators, and sponsors from across the European region.

During the AGM we were proud to announce Winner 1 of this year’s PainW.I.S.E. Grant: “Faces of Pain – A & Toolkit for People Living with .”

This patient-driven initiative will co-create accessible resources, strengthen communication and resilience, and amplify the voices of people living with one of the most severe conditions. A powerful step toward visibility and empowerment.
