The Duke Of Edinburgh's Award, University of Dhaka It is a non competitive and self developing programme for all young people aged 14-24 The Award is Divided in 3 parts - Bronze, Silver and Gold award.

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation is a registered UK charity whose mission is to promote The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award (known as the DofE in the UK), provide young people with the Award, and preserve the quality of the Award worldwide. Every young person aged 14 to 24 in the world should have the opportunity to participate in the Award. Bronze and Silver take 6 m

onths each to be completed and 1 year for the Gold program. The Award has been operating in Bangladesh since 2008. There are 16 operators including schools, universities and youth organisations. The Award has now spread to Dhaka and Chittagong with plans to offer the Award to all 64 districts of Bangladesh. Students Guidance and Counseling Office is operating the program in Dhaka University.
