Samatat Open Scout Group Samatat Open Scout Group has been one of the most active scout groups of Bangladesh since 1976. The deputy chairperson was Sayed Akhter Jahan . Azaduzzaman.

In 1976 some active scouter tried to set up a new scout group which will work for real Baden-Powell scouting and from this thought the historic outset of Samatat Open Scout group originated from Tezturi bazaar, Farm Gate, Dhaka in 1977. The first Group Committee was formed with Gulam Kabir as the Chairperson. The Director General was Abdul Wadud and his deputy was K.M. It was East Raza Bazaar where Samatat commenced its preliminary activities.

পবিত্র ঈদুল ফিতরের পর প্রথম ক্রু মিটিং এ প্রতিবারের মতো এবারো অনুষ্টিত হলো সমতট মুক্ত স্কাউট গ্রুপের ঈদ পুনর্মিলনী ২০২৬।
রোভার ও স্কাউটদের সমন্বয়ে ঈদ পুনর্মিলনী টি ছিল একটি আনন্দঘন ও অংশগ্রহণমূলক আয়োজন। সদস্যরা নিজেদের ঈদ উদযাপনের অভিজ্ঞতা, সালামির গল্প ও নানা স্মৃতি বিনিময় করা থেকে শুরু করে গান, খেলাধুলা ও প্রাণবন্ত আড্ডার মাধ্যমে পুরো আয়োজনটি হয়ে ওঠে উচ্ছ্বসিত ও উপভোগ্য।

Congratulations Rovers for completing 150 KM rambling journey!!

From the hills of Chittagong to the shores of Cox’s Bazar ; Rovers Fatin Ahmed Mahi, Mahibul Islam, Golam Rabbi from Samatat Open Scout Group and their fellow mate Shamsil Arefin from patriot open Scout Group have successfully completed their epic 150-kilometer rambling . They proudly reported at the Chattogram District Council, marking the grand completion of this challenging journey.

Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all four brave Rovers! You have shown that with strong determination and perseverance, any goal can be achieved.

Special thanks to the Upazila Nirbahi Officers and administrations of various Upazilas in Cox’s Bazar, the authorities of all schools and colleges who supported along the way, Chattogram District Rover, Cox’s Bazar District Rover. We are truly grateful to you all.

150 KM On Foot Journey – Day 2 Begins!

Rovers Fatin Ahmed Mahi, Mahibul Islam, and Golam Rabbi from Samatat Open Scout Group have successfully completed the first day's long walk and started the second day of their epic 150 km foot expedition.

Yesterday they started from Government Hazi Muhammad Mohsin College, Chattogram, crossed the Karnaphuli Bridge, passed through 6 No. Kusumba Union Porishod , and concluded Day 1 at Gachbaria Government College, Chandanaish.

Special thanks to the Rovers and authority of Gachbaria Government College for their warm hospitality and heartfelt support.

From the hills of Chittagong to the shores of Cox’s Bazar, our Rovers are setting off on a massive 150 km rambling expedition.
