::: AUTISM & HANS :::

From the very beginning HANS is working for "Autism & Autistic Children In Bangladesh". In our society, Autistics are very much neglected. Even the most conscious parents often try to hide their autistic children from the society. Most of the people of our society consider them as burdens. HANS has already taken some steps to create awareness about autism.

- HANS wants to say that autistic people are also human being and they should have all the rights that we have. They should not be hidden in a dark room rather they should get opportunities to express themselves properly according to their abilities.

- HANS’s members are constantly visiting different institutions of autistic children, interacting with them and trying to bring their complications in front of the society.

- Every year HANS arranges a cultural & discussion program based on Autism in the title of SHARE WITH INNOCENCE. Students from various special schools along with their parents and teachers are invited. Talented students got chance to show their capability through these programs. There were also discussions on autism by some respected persons in our country.

- HANS treats the Autistics as “Gifted Children”. Because some of them can do something so effectively that we cannot imagine.

- To observe the World Autism Awareness Day and to make people know about the day and about autism, HANS arranged a Human Chain in front of Bashundhara City in year 2009 and in front of National Parliament Premises in year 2010.
