Caribbean Institute of Management Consultants

The Caribbean Institute of Management Consultants (CIMC) is a network of individual management consultants and Chapters/Interim Chapters throughout the Caribbean. Our membership includes persons from The Bahamas and the Dominican Republic in the north to Trinidad and Tobago in the south and includes Guyana and Suriname in South America. CIMC was inaugurated in 2007 and became a full member of the

International Council of Management Consultants Institutes (ICMCI) in 2010. Our Mission Statement is “To be a professional organization that aggressively mobilizes its membership and enhances their ability to service clients according to global standards of ethical behaviour and excellence.”

CIMC’s Board of Directors, elected in 2014, represents the regional diversity of our membership. The support CIMC has received from the Caribbean Export Development Agency, and through the European Union, has enabled our Institute’s growth. An annual Management Consulting Business Symposium with stimulating presentations and training activities fosters the professional development of members and colleagues. It also provides Caribbean management consultants with opportunities to network and establish strategic partnerships with regional and international counterparts, which can facilitate access to new markets and build capacity to bid for larger consulting projects. CIMC holds an Annual General Meeting and bi-annual elections of the Board of Directors during the Symposium / Conference event. The 2014 Conference was held in Trinidad and Tobago under the theme Consultants as Knowledge Brokers: Creating Value for Clients. The 2015 Conference will be held in the Bahamas in October 2015 under the theme: Partnership, Profits and Performance: Keys to Successful Business.
