Hi Friends!
How does half a dozen home-made biscuits for $5 sound? What about a generous slab of delicious slice for $8? Better yet, all funds raised support local charities. Come along to the Drouin Kiosk, 71 princes way on Saturday and get your fill of delicious treats.
It's our first time running our kiosk on a Saturday, so we'd love your feedback and suggestions for those nostalgic goodies you can't find anywhere else.

We'll see you there!

We had an amazing opportunity to cater the Drouin RSL's Christmas party, and our incredible members did an outstanding job cooking, serving and cleaning up.
A huge thank you to Ros, Susan, Laurelei, Davina, Sammie, Mary, & Leanne for generously volunteering your time and skills. We are so proud to have members like you who support our local community.

If you've ever come to one of our kiosks or popped into a craft session, chances are you've met Toby. Toby is an absolute champion of our branch and our community. We have been blessed to have her managing our kiosks since the very start. Toby has an incredible eye for detail, and has decided to pursue judging for CWA exhibitions and agriculture shows. While we'll miss seeing her in the kiosk (although she'll still be around when she can!) , we're excited for this new pathway. Congratulations, Toby, the judging world is lucky to have you!

On Thursday the 20th, we had the pleasure of hosting Margaret from Margarets Fabrics. Margaret is a master of Candlewicking; a beautiful form of embroidery which has an amazing effect on fabric. Margaret demonstrated some techniques, shared tips, and displayed her impressive collection of samples- Including an elegant bedspread over 200 years old!
We had nearly 40 members and friends attend and enjoy her demonstration.
We'd like to extend our sincere thanks to Margaret for sharing her skill and her craft with us. We hope to see her again!

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who entered our Christmas Raffle. We had some amazing engagement and managed to raise an outstanding amount. A very special thank you to our raffle committee, which made it so fabulous and drove it with determination.
Of course, we'd also like to congratulate our 4 lovely winners. We hope these prizes help your holidays to be merry and bright!

Hi Friends!
At Drouin Nighthawks CWA, we're passionate about showcasing the rare and wonderful crafts that are kept alive by the talented women of Gippsland. This Thursday we are lucky enough to have a Candlewicking demonstration.
What is Candlewicking? Surprisingly, it doesn't actually involve candles at all! This is an old and rare embroidery technique which has some beautiful and unique finishes.
We're always welcoming new members and curious crafters. If you'd like to come along, send us a message :)
