It's that time of year again where we're putting the call out to help make local children's Christmas' brighter! 🎁🎄

Last time we assisted over 190 children in the area with a bag of gifts, and we'd love your support once again!

Longwarry Lions Food Relief will be assisting us this time in finding homes for the gifts.

Every fortnight they:
🛒 Support 130+ locals with food relief (and their families)
📦 Deliver 90+ hampers
🥪 Make 560 sandwiches for 11 schools
☕ Host free community meals

There are 4 drop off times (Nov 13/14 or 27/28) or donations can be dropped to me and I'll take them down for you.
Or if your workplace/school/organisation would like to be involved please let me know!

💛 Longwarry Lions Food Relief Bag Drive 💛

The Longwarry Lions are local heroes supporting people doing it tough — and they need your help!

Every fortnight they:
🛒 Support 130+ locals with food relief (plus their families)
📦 Deliver 90+ hampers each fortnight (plus their families)
🥪 Make 560 sandwiches for 11 schools
☕ Host free community lunches & morning teas
👕 Provide free clothing to those in need

Now they’re preparing backpacks with essentials for people sleeping rough — and they would love your help!

🎒 You can help by:
Donating a backpack (filled or empty)
Supplying essential items
Hosting a collection point at your school or business

Every donation brings comfort, dignity & hope 💛

While Longwarry Lions Food Relief take a well deserved short break, they will be placing free fruit and vegetables at 6pm nightly in the Community Garden in the hutch under the gazebo (at the side of the Longwarry Hall).
Please help yourself.

Today I took a carload of donations from CCW - Community Church Warragul who ran a Giving Wall over the weekend!

A huge thanks to Cath from Club House Holiday Program and the team at Monash Health for your incredible donations for our Christmas Toy/Treats Drive!

Debbie and the team at Longwarry Lions Food Relief will be giving these gifts out to children in need this Christmas!

It's not too late to help! Please collect toys, books and Christmas treats, and drop them off on Thursdays 11-2pm, or this Saturday 9-5pm to the Longwarry Hall, we're so grateful for your support!

Longwarry Lions Food Relief does an incredible job of helping those in need during the holiday season, but they can't do it without your help.

Please consider donating the items below which will be distributed to those in need at Christmas.

Things such as:
🎄 Christmas food (things for a Christmas lunch)
🎄 Lollies, biscuits, chocolates
🎄 Christmas decorations
🎄 Christmas table decorations
🎄 Wrapping paper or Christmas cards
🎁 Toys and books for all children
🎁 Gift cards/vouchers or items suitable for teenagers (things such as body products, makeup, sporting goods)

Donations can be taken to the Longwarry Public Hall every Thursday 11-2pm, or Saturday 16th November/Saturday 7th December from 9am-5pm.

Last year I was truly amazed by the community's incredible support of our local toy drive, and in years past of our Reverse Advent Calendar Hampers.

Let's work together to make this year's Christmas even more special for everyone!
