Hi Parkrun peeps.

We have a double header special Parkrun this Saturday.
Parkrun is holding the official Parkwalk for Daniel Morcombe day to honor Daniel's memory and raise awareness for child safety by helping children learn to Recognise, React and Report.
Wear a red shirt to show your support.

It also happens to be Halloween, so we expect to see some unusual sights!
Show us what you got!!!

So get dressed up and meet at 6.45am this Saturday at Raaen Rd for a walk or run.

Oh. And we need a Timekeeper and a Marshal for this weekend. Otherwise we just get to say hi to the witches hat at the turnaround instead of a friendly face.

Congratulations to the 27 finishers and 8 volunteers who braved the wet and muddy conditions this morning 🌧! Our new gazebo came in very handy ☔

Welcome to Lloyd who did his first parkrun today and a shout out to the 4 people who got PBs: Sandy, Lisa, Sam and Darren! Amazing in those conditions 👏👏👏

30 keen parkrunners, joggers and walkers this morning.
Quite a few first timers including Henry who took out the first position and came close to the course record; and Jason who’s on his Statesman quest. Look out for his post about our parkrun later in the week.
Thanks to our volunteers, regulars and visitors for making our parkrun the friendliest parkrun!
