A big weekend for the Wamuran Lions! 🦁🌴

We had an incredible time at the Lions District 201 Q3 ‘Cruise to Bribie’ Convention! It was a weekend packed with inspiration, connection, and full of that community spirit we love so much.

A massive thank you to the organisers for putting on such a seamless and memorable event. It’s events like this that remind us why we do what we do. 💙

We’re returning energised and more motivated than ever to serve our Wamuran community. A special shout-out to the Wamuran members who made the trip – your dedication is what makes our club so special.

Let’s keep making a difference!

Want to help bring next year’s Wamuran Lions Family Carnival to life? We need YOU on the team! 🎪✨

We’re getting an early start on planning next year’s event, but to make it happen, we urgently need local volunteers to join our Carnival Committee.

Events like this only take place when community members step up to help. You don’t need formal event experience - just enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a desire to support our town.

How to get involved:

📩 Email us at [email protected] or send us a DM today to jump on board!

P.S. A massive shoutout to the legendary crew pictured here! This year’s committee did an absolute knockout job pulling off such a fantastic event for our town - let’s keep that momentum going! 👏🔥

A wonderful night celebrating service, leadership, and community! 🦁✨

Last night, the Wamuran Lions Club came together with our good friends from Caboolture North for our annual Changeover Dinner. It was a fantastic evening reflecting on the past year and looking forward to the next.

A huge congratulations to Maria Malpass, who was presented with the Jenny Walters Award! As a non-Lions volunteer, Maria’s dedication and selflessness embody the true spirit of community support. Having her efforts recognised made the night truly special. 💛

We also celebrated a remarkable milestone, presenting 10 Years of Service badges to recognise a decade of tireless dedication to our local region.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and made the evening so memorable. Here’s to another great year of giving back! 🥂🤝

Nothing goes to waste when community comes first! 🦁🍞

After a fantastic Wamuran Lions Family Carnival, we were left with a generous amount of leftover fresh food. Thanks to our amazing volunteer Maria, 62 loaves of bread, 113 packets of rolls, and 3 big bags of chopped lettuce were delivered straight to the wonderful team at Loaves and Fishes this morning to support local families in need!

A huge thank you to Maria for making the delivery run. 💛
