Our stores are running low and these items are what we are currently most in need of. Every little bit helps. Thankyou.

On Wednesday, 28 August 2026, Woodford Community House held its Annual General Meeting.

Congratulations to our newly elected committee office bearers:

Gael Hansen – President
Frank Effess – Secretary
Sue Woolley – Treasurer
Noela Hugs – General Member
Luisa Garcia – General Member

We look forward to another year of working together to support our local community.

Over the past year, we have increased the amount of food going into our community pantry to help meet growing demand. The continued increase in requests for hampers reflects the impact of cost-of-living pressures being felt by many in our community. As always, we encourage anyone who needs support to contact us to access a hearty food hamper.

A special thank you to Lynne Barling from the Lions for kindly chairing our AGM, and to the Lions for generously providing the use of the Lions Shed for the meeting.

We are grateful for the ongoing support and partnership of our local community organisations, volunteers and everyone who helps us support those in our community who need a helping hand. Thank you!

The Woodford Community House provides food hampers to community members in need. To organise a food hamper, please contact the Woodford Community House on 0493 675 263. 🙂

Is the Community Pantry not quite meeting your needs - reach out for a hamper. Our hampers have frozen meat, chicken and or sausages. Note: we do not keep frozen meat or dairy in the freezer section of the fridge next to the pantry due to health regulations.
