Great Lakes Historic Automobile Club's Mid Coast Motorfest 2026 was once again a full blown success, with stunning weather and a turnout of some 295 vehicles. Kids both young and old enjoyed Rocker Cover Racing on tap - rocker covers of all shapes and sizes hit the track in heats of two, all aiming for that top spot! Great Lakes Historic Automobile Club would like to thank all the sponsors for their support; and of course all entrants who helped to make the 2026 Motorfest one of our best yet. This was an action event that was so much fun. Eight of our GLHAC group met on Tuesday 19th May and we enjoyed the fun of bowling at Forster Ten Pin Bowling Club. We just naturally fell into ladies versus gents and just as naturally the men won. They of course used heavier bowling balls and threw them harder. Best on the day were Brian Payne and Tony Brogan. Ladies champ in the first round was Kay and in the second round Serena was the winner having found her mojo. We all found the gutter more than we liked but had a great time. Following this activity most folks went off to the Forster Bowling Club to meetup with the others for a lovely lunch.

After bowling most of the folks attended Forster Bowling Club for lunch and were joined by Sharon and Albert. On offer was quite a selection of $15 meals which everyone seemed to enjoy. A very pleasant outing for bowls and lunch.
