Another Melbourne Cup lunch done and dusted, and what a great day. Sadly, no winners for me.
Our thanks to our wonderful volunteers in the kitchen for providing a beautiful plated salad and dessert.
Thanks also to our guitar group "Guitar Attack". They played and sang a great selection of popular songs.
Last, but not least, my thanks to those Board members who worked on the day to ensure another successful event.

Good afternoon. Reminder to members that there will be NO activities in the Auditorium on Friday 16 October as we will be setting up for our Spring Fair on Saturday 17 October from 9am to 2pm.

The Spring Fair is our biggest fundraiser and we would encourage as many members as possible to come and support the Centre. Raffle tickets are on sale at the reception desk.

Have a great weekend.

Wow! What a great day we had yesterday with our guest choreographer, Joshua Talbot. Thanks to everyone who came to support us - 120 dancers on the floor. Thanks also to my good friend Diane Watts for all she did to help ensure everything looked great, and to all those great people who helped set up and then clean up - we can't run these events without your assistance.

We turned this special day into a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Trials, Newcastle and raised $2,700 for the day.
