Nepal Flood Update: Third Delivery of Aid

Toukley Wyong Rotary, District 9685, Rotary Australia World Community Service and The Didi Foundation congratulate Rotary Club of Rudramati Kathmandu on delivering essential flood relief to three locations.
Yesterday, 86 more families in Uttargaya and Bidur Municipalities, Nuwakot District shared a moment of happiness.

Families received vital household essentials including lockable chests, mattresses, covers, pillows, crockery, utensils, pressure cooker, stove and rice.

Our relief was prioritised for displaced families living in holding centres and tents. Due to lack of roads, many had to walk a few hours and carry supplies by hand.

Every contribution makes a difference. Together, we are reaching families who need help most and reminding them that they are not forgotten.

Thank you to everyone helping make this relief effort possible.
Our aid work will be ongoing into the future to help restore the lives of so many.

Please consider donating and helping us continue this important work:

Toukley Wyong Rotary was very proud to work alongside RAWCS - Rotary Australia World Community Service to launch a fundraising appeal for the people impacted by the Nepali floods along the Trishuli River in Nepal.

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Rudramati, Rotaractors and the Didi Foundation Nepal, who went into action immediately after the government opened the roads.

The team packed a truck with essential supplies and as advised by local leaders, delivered them directly to those most severely impacted, many of whom are still living in tents in the holding grounds. The supplies were received with immense gratitude.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and supported this appeal.
A speacial thankyou to:
Project Manager: Deepak
Club President Dr Manoj Kumar Thapa
Supporter: Kishor, Rotarians and Rotaractors who gave up their time to deliver aid.
Advisor: Sudip

**Our aid journey is just beginning, and together we can continue to make a difference.**

RASUWA FLOOD APPEAL – WEATHER UPDATE
Unfortunately, the planned delivery of essential relief items has been delayed due to severe weather.

From 25–27 September 2026, the government has advised people to avoid travel due to severe to extremely heavy rainfall, flash floods and landslides.

Our hearts and thoughts are with the families and communities of Rasuwa and flood affected areas who have already suffered so much and now facing these difficult conditions.

Although our delivery is delayed, our commitment to you remains strong. We will continue our efforts and deliver the much-needed assistance as soon as it is safe to do so.

We stand with you.

TOUKLEY WYONG ROTARY -- RASUWA FLOOD APPEAL UPDATE

Firstly, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated the Rasuwa Flood Appeal. To date with the support of District Governor, District 9685, we have raised over $78,000 plus a generation donation from RAWCS of $50,000.

The Rotary Club of Rudramati (and Rotaractors) and Didi Foundation have worked hard to gather essential items for families, including stoves, pressure cookers, kitchen utensils, mattresses, blankets, hygiene/sanitary items etc and lockable chests.

Clothing has been made or purchased according to individual sizes for women, men and children, including women’s kurtha suruwal and saris, men’s T-shirts, trousers and jackets, and children’s clothing, including school uniforms.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported the Rasuwa Flood Appeal through our Rotary Australia World Community Service appeal.

This is a long road to recovery and our work is not finished.
Please donate if you can, and share this appeal with your family, friends and community. Every contribution makes a difference.
