✨ A new chapter for our foodbank! ✨

After a busy few days rearranging our space at the Community Centre, we’re excited to launch our new foodbank service model! 🧡

Our goal is to create a more welcoming experience where clients have greater choice, dignity and flexibility when accessing food support.

We’re so pleased to be taking this next step and look forward to creating an even more positive experience for everyone who visits us.

Gumboots Early Learning Jacksons Hill - Sunbury kindly helped us during our Winter Food Appeal by running a food drive at their centre. Thank you to all the families who donated! Our shelves are currently well stocked thanks to your generosity and kindness to help those facing hardship in our community.

Our collection cage is at Sunbury Square until the end of the month! If you are able, please can you consider picking up an extra item or two during your shop at Coles and popping it in our cage.

Our current most needed items are below, but any food or toiletry item/s will be gratefully received!

Please remember we can only accept in-date, unopened, non-perishable items. Thank you for your support!

Good morning Sunbury Community!

The temperature has certainly dropped this week, remember to wrap up warm and check in on neighbours and friends, don't forget that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

This winter, we're asking for your support with our Winter Food Appeal. Donations of non-perishable food and essential household items help local individuals and families facing hardship during the colder months.

🛒 You can drop your donations into our collection cage located at Sunbury Square.

Every donation, big or small, helps put food on the table and brings comfort to someone in need this winter.

🍛 July’s Community Lunch was a heartwarming success!

We gathered together to beat the winter chill with some classic, comforting food and even better company. On the menu today was curried sausages and rhubarb crumble.

A massive thank you to our wonderful volunteers who cooked, served, and cleaned up. We appreciate you!

Last week, we were delighted to welcome some wonderful members from Christian Life Fellowship, who run the Boxes of Care material relief program.

They generously donated 75 kg of food and essential baby items to our Foodbank, helping us support local individuals and families in need.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for your kindness and generosity.

Many thanks to FOAL for their generous donation to our foodbank!

A big thank you to our wonderful F.O.A.L volunteers, Friends of Animal Land, who have been busy preparing the garden beds for winter vegetables.

F.O.A.L is also proud to support our local community, donating $3,500 each to Foodbank and CareWorks Sunbury

From growing in the garden to giving back to those in need, this is what community is all about.

Great news! Our collection cage is back in Sunbury Square Shopping Centre for the month of July. Our Winter Food Appeal is in full swing and you can find our cage just outside of Coles.

Items we are currently in need of include:
Cereals
Jam
Vegemite
Peanut Butter
Muesli Bars
Coffee
Oil
Tuna
Biscuits

We are also collecting toiletries - Shampoo, Toilet Paper, Soap, Toothpaste, Body Wash, Deodorant.

Last week we celebrated 12 months of our Community Lunches! It's been so great to partner with Sunbury Neighbourhood House to run these lunches once a month!
