Want to know the secret behind a beautiful home cooked meal.? Fresh ingredients straight from the garden. Become a little green thumb today.

Kids in the Garden - Little Green Thumbs is held monthly, on the last Saturday of every month between 10am and 11.30am at the Sunbury Community Garden corner of Rolling Meadows Drive and Highgrove Drive. Here at Little green thumbs we teach children how to grow, care for and cook natures produce. The reliance on convenient food has impacted the health and wellbeing of Australian children, obesity

Is at an all time high and real home cooking is a thing of the past. Little green thumbs goes back to basics and shows children that from little things big things grow, demonstrating what can be achieved in their own back yard

All the way from planting to picking, children take responsibility for their plants, gaining a sense of satisfaction as they see the seedlings grow into thriving produce. From picking their first strawberries,to cooking their first dish,Little green thumbs prides itself on teaching the future generation how easy it is to cook and grow their own food. Healthy children are happy children and getting their hands dirty is half the fun.We encourage kids to spend time outside, away from technology and into the sunshine. Families who cook together, eat together, let's bring the focus back on family time and grow together too.
