Our Story
Due to COVID-19 and other issues the Sunbury Village Market will be returning on the 13th of February 2021. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
The Sunbury Village Market is located at the Sunbury Memorial Hall and Village Green, Stawell St, Sunbury. For stall applications go to http://www.rotaryclubsunbury.org.au Previously known as the Sunbury Family Market, it has blossumed and evolved along with our town. For the past 20 years the market was a hidden treasure in the Sunbury Neighbourhood House and Community Centre. With 60 + indoor and outdoor stalls of variety, there's something for the whole family, so come an experience the new ambiance and let us know what you think! The Market will be held on the 2nd Saturday of every month, except January, from 9am to 2pm at the Sunbury Memorial Hall and Village Green, Stawell St, Sunbury. Our stalls include a variety of unique products. Traditionally there is an abundance of craft itemsand collectables. We are striving to include new stalls every market and are always looking for new and exciting stall holders. Free face painting and Rotary Activities, such as the “Vision Awareness Day” and Animal Microchipping, all add to the community atmosphere. There is fresh produce and food vendors with delicious market snacks, a nice warm coffee is guarenteed. Each market usually boasts some wonderful local talent entertaining market goers and stall holders. Sunbury has so much to offer, and we're always on the lookout to scout fresh talent to show the world. As a community service, the Rotary Club offers a free market stall to not for profit Sunbury groups. This is designed to provide groups, such as the local radio station 3NRG and the Historical Society, with the opportunity to showcase their areas of interest and to highlight the possibilities for group membership within the Sunbury district. All proceeds are directed towards Rotary Community projects.
