Sunbury Business Association

Sunbury Business Association Sunbury Business Association (SBA) aims to help promote local businesses and encourage people to shop in Sunbury. Check out details in the online event.

The Sunbury Chamber of Commerce was founded in the 1980s to provide Sunbury businesses with a strong advocacy presence, promoting local trade and investment, networking opportunities and the exchange of information. In November 2010 the Chamber was reconstituted as the Sunbury Business Association with a new executive team and general committee. Membership is open to all businesses in Sunbury incl

uding home-based businesses.

2022 promises to be an important year for the Association as businesses bounce back from pandemic. The Greater Western Water Business Expo is a great opportunity to meet a client face-to-face for the first time after months of phone calls and e-mail exchanges. Why not reconnect with previous business clients or make time for key customers? Maybe, it’s the right time to kick start your online marketing with workshops and engagement at the Expo. 🌟MEMBER MONDAY SPOTLIGHT 🌟

SPECSAVERS SUNBURY
Some businesses you visit once…
Others become part of your life.
For many in Sunbury, Specsavers Sunbury is exactly that 👓
Since opening in 2008, this local practice has been quietly caring for the community, helping families see clearly, stay connected, and feel confident in their health.
What started with Optometrist Brendan Myers has grown into something much bigger than a store. Over the years, it’s become a place built on:
✨ Familiar faces
✨ Trusted relationships
✨ And genuine care
In 2018, the addition of audiology services expanded that care even further supporting not just vision, but hearing too. With Audiology Partner Stacey Meaney as part of the business, Specsavers Sunbury has continued to offer locals professional, personalised hearing care alongside their trusted optometry services.
And in a full-circle moment, long-time team members Daisy Golden and Bronwyn Wade after 17 and 13 years with the business, have now stepped into partnership.
That kind of continuity says everything.
Because this isn’t just a workplace, it’s a team that has grown together alongside the community.
From a child’s first pair of glasses…
To helping someone hear their grandchild clearly…
To guiding customers through important health decisions…
Specsavers Sunbury is there for life’s everyday moments and the big ones too.
What sets them apart is simple:
They take the time.
Time to explain.
Time to guide.
Time to make sure every customer feels comfortable, confident, and supported.
With comprehensive eye care, personalised eyewear solutions, and professional hearing services all under one roof they’ve created a space where health meets community.

We’re proud to have businesses like Specsavers Sunbury at the heart of our town caring for generations of locals, one conversation at a time.

A big thank you to the local Telstra team for bringing Sunbury Square traders together for this networking event.
It was a great opportunity to connect with local business owners, hear what’s happening on the ground, and share more about the support available through both the Sunbury Business Association and Hume City Council.
These informal conversations are so valuable. They help us understand what local businesses need, where the opportunities are, and how we can better support a strong, connected Sunbury business community. Thanks again to everyone who came along.

Get dedicated support, explore helpful articles and upcoming events or find a product and service to suit your lifestyle in regional, rural or remote Australia.

🌟MEMBER MONDAY SPOTLIGHT 🌟

KYEDON
Some places serve coffee…
Others become part of your life
Kyedon is described as a cosy, homely space in Sunbury where connection comes first.
Back in 2020, what many locals knew as an old, empty house, sitting quietly for over a decade was given a new purpose.
A vision. To become a place where people could gather, slow down, and feel at home.
Today, that’s exactly what Kyedon is.
A place where:
✨ Friends meet for a catch up
✨ Families grow up in front of your eyes
✨ New babies are celebrated
✨ And sometimes, life’s harder moments are shared together

Because this isn’t just a café.
It’s a community.
Kyedon has built something truly rare, genuine relationships with the
people who walk through their doors. Regulars aren’t just customers…
they’re known, welcomed, and cared for.
Over time, those connections run deep.
From offering a warm meal and a friendly face… To checking in on locals doing it tough…To even supporting customers at home when life takes an unexpected turn…

This is what community looks like in action.

At its heart, Kyedon is about something simple, but powerful:
A place to belong.
With a warm, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, it’s the kind of
space where you don’t just grab a coffee… you stay for the conversation.
We’re incredibly proud to have businesses like Kyedon at the heart
of Sunbury, reminding us all what it means to truly support one another.
