We have a growing community of Indigenious brothers and sisters and are extremely excited to launch our first Indigenous Lifegroup by one of our awesome leaders Patrick Tallent.

God is moving so powerfully among our First Nations family at Encounter. We are truly blessed and can't wait to our see revival in this Great Southland of the Holy Spirit as we come together and pray.

This week we will continue our month on teaching on how to become a disciple and make disciples.
Matthew 28:19.

We believe that discipleship is a life long journey and in order to be true followers of Christ we need to journey through discipleship.

TABLE TALK : WHEN VISION DIES
Speaker: Dr Andre Maistry

We were blessed to hear a neuro-theological understanding of what happens when people lose vision. He explained the experiences of failure and disappointment, loss and hopelessness and the emotional response one can feel like grief, anger, frustration, unforgiveness and bitterness.
Andre shared biblical strategies we can use to restore vision in our lives.

It was great to see such a great discussion around the table and many peope self reflecting and learning the strategies discussed today.

Research has shown that 3.3 million people in AUSTRALIA suffer from anxiety related conditions.

Last week we had Simone Gomez teach about the connection between the heart and brain and how this can affect our emotions and heal anxiety based on scientific research and the word of God.

So many people left blessed understanding
how the heart and brain works and through the Holy Spirit working through us we can overcome anxiety.

This week we will continue teaching on Anxiety and how to overcome this condition through the word of God, prayer and being STILL IN HIS PRESENCE.
