A huge congratulations to Maty Ryan on his selection in Australia's squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup 👏

Born in Plumpton, Ryan rose through the Football NSW pathway, playing youth football with Marconi Stallions and Blacktown City before launching his professional career with the Central Coast Mariners in 2010.

Ryan's career has since taken him across Europe, featuring for a number of clubs including Club Brugge, Valencia, Brighton & Hove Albion, Arsenal and most recently Levante. He heads into the tournament in excellent form, keeping five clean sheets in Levante's final eight matches of the season to help the club secure its top-flight status.

On the international stage, Ryan reached the milestone of 100 Socceroos appearances last year, cementing his place among Australia's most decorated goalkeepers 🇦🇺

Best of luck to Australia's number one as he prepares for his fourth FIFA World Cup 🌎
