Such a fun visit from the legends behind Shell Con Mania 🦸 The event is back for its second year, bringing together cosplay, pop culture, gaming, music and so much more – all while supporting KidsWish 💜

Through incredible community events like this, we’re able to continue providing free after school programs and special events for children living with disability or illness across the Illawarra.

KidsWish is inviting schools, businesses, and our wider community to get involved in the Christmas in July Toy Fund and be part of creating magical moments 🎁

Together, we’re aiming to raise $50,000 to help deliver thousands of toys gifted to children living with disability or illness at Christmas – bringing joy, connection, and smiles to local families.

🎉 We’re heading to the BIG Play Date in Shellharbour TOMORROW 🎉

Join us at the Communities for Children BIG Play Date as part of KidsFest Shellharbour – Thursday 28 May, 10am–1pm, Shellharbour Civic Centre.

We’ll be there alongside a huge range of amazing services and activities for families, including:

🎨 Cultural activities

📢 We’d like to let our community know that the Illawarra Annual Brick Show will not be going ahead in 2026.

This was not an easy decision, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this much‑loved event over the years. The Brick Show has brought so much joy to our community and played an important role in supporting KidsWish children and families.

On Friday, KidsWish families enjoyed a fantastic session at Flip Out Albion Park as part of our Accessing Illawarra initiative – supporting families to build confidence accessing community spaces in a safe and welcoming environment 🤸
