Did you know that 90% of a child’s learning is done through their eyes? 👁️ 👁️

​It’s a powerful statistic, yet 1 in 5 children have an undetected vision problem that can easily go unnoticed and undiagnosed.

When a child struggles to see the board, read a book, or focus on a screen, it can directly impact their learning, confidence, and development.

​To support local families, the Shellharbour Community Lions Club is hosting a FREE Community Eye Health Screening Clinic this July.
It’s a quick, friendly, and non-invasive way to check in on your child's vision health before the new school term.

​🗓️ When: Saturday 4 July 2026
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Where: Shell Cove Community Centre
🎟️ Cost: 100% FREE
👥 Who: All local families and community members are welcome!

​No bookings or RSVPs are required—just drop in on the day. Let’s work together to give our kids the best possible start to their learning journey! 🦁💛

​80% of what a child learns is processed through their sight, yet many vision issues go undetected. The Shellharbour Community Lions Club is proud to host a free information session on the Lions Eye Health Program (LEHP).

​Come along to learn about our upcoming free child eye assessment clinics and how we support early detection for local families.

Whether we’re turning snags at the Farmers Markets, serving up bacon and egg rolls at Reddall Reserve, or coordinating local service projects, our goal is simple: We Serve

What a fantastic day at The Nest Markets at Reddall Reserve! 🦁 🌊

Our Shellharbour Community Lions were out in force today at The Local Table. The Nest Markets serving up plenty of bacon and egg rolls and turning snags to raise much-needed funds for our local community.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a bite and a chat—every cent raised goes right back into supporting local projects. We love being part of this community! 🌭🍳
