🕯️ Candlelight Vigil – Standing Together for Change

Family and domestic violence continues to affect too many lives in our community. On Wednesday 6 May, we invite you to stand with us in reflection, remembrance and solidarity.

Why it matters?
💜 In 2025, Wellington recorded 1,500 family violence‑related calls to police, a 5% increase on the previous year.
💜 The estimated social and economic impact on our region is around $300 million each year.

By coming together, we can support those affected and send a clear message that family violence has no place in our communities.

📅 Wednesday 6 May
