We warmly invite Filipino choirs, parish groups, vocal ensembles, youth ministries, and community singing groups across Queensland to be part of DAYGON SA PASKO, the first Filipino Choral Festival of its kind in the state.
Rooted in our cherished tradition of daygon - the heartfelt singing of Filipino Christmas carols that proclaim joy, gratitude, and the birth of Jesus - this festival celebrates the Christian spirit that has shaped generations of Filipino families.

As the centrepiece of PASKO sa BARRIO: A Filipino Christmas in Brisbane, DAYGON SA PASKO will bring together voices that honour our faith, our heritage, and the timeless message of hope and unity.

STALL REGISTRATION REACHED FULL CAPACITY for Pasko Sa Barrio 2026 - Barrio Fiesta Brisbane
We are pleased to announce that stallholder registrations for PASKO SA BARRIO, scheduled for 21 November 2026 at , have reached full capacity of the initial space allocated within just two days of opening.

Due to the overwhelming response, we have temporarily PAUSED REGISTRATIONS while we reassess our site plan and determine the feasibility of safely accommodating additional stalls. As part of this review, we are also ensuring a balanced representation of stall categories and industries. This is important to support both economic opportunities for vendors and overall cultural and festive experience of celebrating a Filipino Christmas in Brisbane.

All confirmed stallholders will receive further communication in the coming days.

For those who have not registered, you may still do so via the same QR code or link. Your submission will be added to our WAITING LIST, and we will contact you should additional spaces become available.

Following our earlier announcement regarding the rescheduling of Barrio Fiesta Brisbane, a review of the June community events calendar revealed significant saturation across Southeast Queensland. Multiple Philippine Independence Day celebrations are being held back- to -back in Brisbane, Logan, the Gold Coast, regional areas, as well as the Philippine Consulate’s official Independence Day event.
Given this succession of major community activities, holding Barrio Fiesta in June risked fragmented attendance, reduced vendor/ stallholders’ visibility, and a diminished overall impact for all participants.
In light of these considerations, we have made the strategic decision to hold Barrio Fiesta Brisbane in November, allowing the event to stand on its own and maximise community engagement.
This year, the festival will proudly adopt a Christmas theme — “PASKO SA BARRIO” — reflecting the deep cultural significance of Filipino Christmas traditions centred on family, generosity, faith, music, and shared food.
Although the date has shifted, the theme remains strongly aligned with our June focus on celebrating Filipino culture and heritage. “Pasko sa Barrio” offers a meaningful and culturally resonant way to honour our traditions while providing the community with a vibrant, unified celebration.
