Trust Matters! Establishing trust is key. At Central Queensland Multicultural Association Inc., the first point of contact with our team can be a turning point for those who seek help. Our multicultural team works cohesively as Community Connectors, offering practical and culturally aware support to facilitate connections to Skills support pathways, DFV support, health awareness, cultural connections, driving workshops, language support, and other vital services. Trust enables individuals to feel recognised, valued, and part of the community. Central Queensland Multicultural Association Inc.

Before someone seeks help, books a health appointment, or attends a health promotion workshop, there is often an invisible first step: knowing who to trust.

For multicultural communities, that trust can be the difference between receiving care and missing out altogether.

In this week’s blog, Isobella Halcrow reflects on conversations with organisations supporting women, people affected by cancer, migrants, and multicultural communities across Western Sydney. While each organisation serves a different community and tackles different challenges, one message kept coming through: trust matters.
