Make and design your own pillows, accessories, prints and more with 's colour-block printing workshop 🫶
Join Rachel for a hands-on workshop at the Fare Cravin’ Cafe on the Central Coast. Arrive early to grab a cuppa and treat from the cafe, then wander through Fairhaven Op Shopping Village for inspiration — Rachel's favourite place to source pre-loved fabric and fashion for printing.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of block printing onto fabric. You’ll learn to carve your own simple design onto a printing block, experimenting with fun patterns and designs. Choosing one colour, you’ll then print your design onto pre-loved fabric sourced from Fairhaven using eco-friendly textile ink.
You’ll leave with a printed piece which can later be turned into a wall hanging, patchwork project, cushion cover, gift wrap, accessory or keepsake piece.
No experience necessary!
Adults of all ages and artistic abilities are welcome, however, please note that we will be using sharp tools, so a steady hand and a cautious approach is recommended.
