Today the Bara Barang Team hosted a Community, Business and Industry Preview tour of our on country facility Raspberry Fields located within McPherson State Forest in Mangrove Mountain.

We were greeted with a beautiful winters morning and enjoyed a guided walk and talk led by our General Manager, Andrew Malloch with a visit from maliyan (Wedge Tailed Eagle)

A big thank you to the group of the 70 plus leaders of Community, Business and Industry for joining us for this exciting occasion.

A key takeaway was the palpable excitement for the activation for the facility and the opportunity to bring Culture and Business together for the benefit of the Central Coast Community.

We look forward to engaging further as activity ramps up at Raspberry Fields in the coming months.

We have another location! We’ve found additional space due to the growth of our team, at C-Cubed Cowork up on Level 3, 107-109 Mann Street in the Gosford C*D. You’ll still find us in the cottage behind the Gosford Anglican Church, where we will retain a presence. Here’s some of our team at the new space!

Great to hear the conversation about National Reconciliation Week 2026 that takes place from Wednesday 27 May to Wednesday 3 June each year, and the revitalisation of Darkinung language with language classes commencing in schools!

A grandmother and grandson on the New South Wales Central Coast are on a journey to revitalise their Darkinyung language and place names.

Recently Bara Barang were fortunate to attend the official opening of the The University of Newcastle, Australia Gosford Central campus.

It was great to be part of the official opening of such an incredible asset in the heart of Gosford.
