Another big week at 🌊❤️💛💚

From celebrating our members at the 2026 Annual Awards Night, to seeing our young stars recognised at the Surf Life Saving WA Nipper & Youth Awards, there's plenty to be proud of across the club.

This weekend, the action heads north as Trigg hosts the SLSWA IRB Racing Series at Lancelin Back Beach. With crews from across WA competing in one of surf lifesaving's most exciting disciplines, it's set to be a fantastic weekend of racing.

We're also looking ahead to our Annual General Meeting on Friday 19 June, with members encouraged to have their say in shaping the future of Our Island.

As always, thank you to our members, volunteers, families, coaches, officials and supporters who continue to make Trigg such a special place.

Huge recognition for some of Our Island’s rising stars at the Surf Life Saving WA Nipper & Youth Awards on Saturday night 🌊🏆

Congratulations to:
🏅 Ellie Neervoort – U15 Female Surf Sports Champion
🏅 Indiah Reidy – Youth Official of the Year
👏 Indiah Reidy – Youth Achiever of the Year Nominee
👏 Georgia Hannigan – Nipper Club Achiever of the Year Nominee
👏 Alex Duguid – U14/15 Lifesaver of the Year Nominee

A special mention to Ellie, who was presented her award by The Hon Chris Dawson after an incredible season, claiming the U15 Female Surf Sports Champion title for the second year in a row. An outstanding achievement and a reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment she continues to show both on and off the beach.

These awards recognise far more than performances and results. Behind every athlete, official and nominee is an incredible support crew of parents, families, coaches, age managers, officials, teammates and volunteers who help make it all possible.

From the early morning starts, endless car trips, packing trailers and boards, washing uniforms, organising lunches, reminders, encouragement and everything in between — it truly takes a village.

We are immensely proud not only of these young members, but also of the families and community that call Our Island home ❤️💛💚

Congratulations to everyone recognised across the evening.
