Wednesday: Stormy weather incoming. No sessions due to strong winds and big surf.

Thursday: Again, strong surf and winds with a chance of a thunderstorm. No sessions.

Friday: Potentially still some rain around however it looks like an awesome day of surf! No wind after the storms.

Saturday: Again some rain expected but the waters will be calm and the surf much smaller! Should be a really beautiful morning!

Sunday: Very heavy weather expected for Sunday. Extremely strong winds and large surf. No sessions.

Monday: Public holiday so no sessions - but again really rough weather.

Tuesday: Same again unfortunately. No sessions due to strong winds and big surf.

Long range: Looks like Thursday onwards the bad weather should subside and make way for some sessions again. Fingers crossed.

Wednesday: A little bit of northerly wind tomorrow will make for imperfect conditions, however with small surf it should still be a fun morning.

Thursday: Don't let the expectation of rain for Thursday worry you, we have a really nice day of surf shaping up! No winds and a good size 1.5m surf for us :)

Friday: Slightly poor winds as they turn to a southerly direction. Only 6 knots so nice and light however. Surf is a good size for us.

Saturday: Shaping up to be a really perfect Saturday. Great winds and good size surf, along with some sunny weather!

Sunday: Another cracking day for the weekend. WInd will be coming slightly from the north but should be reasonably calm. Surf drops to 0.9m, so a great day for those less confident in waves.

Monday: Unfortunately we have no staff to run the van Monday so no sessions. Probably best as the wind is a bit stronger and coming straight from the north. This could mean messy waters.

Tuesday: Again we have northerly winds. This causes a strong current pushing us south and potentially dangerous messy waters. No sessions.

Long range: Northerly winds will continue on Thursday, however later in the week and moving into the weekend it looks like nice conditions :)

Wednesday: Large surf expected tomorrow, 2.1m. This paired with a northerly wind will mean tricky surf conditions, sligh...

Wednesday: Large surf expected tomorrow, 2.1m. This paired with a northerly wind will mean tricky surf conditions, slightly poor wind. Might be best suited to bodyboarding close to shore.

Thursday: Improvement in the weather as the wind is much lighter, only 5 knots. Surf is still big and might have a little rain but nothing major.

Friday: Really similar to Thursday, winds look okay and surf is still decent size. Hopefully these couple days suited to surfing not just bodyboarding.

Saturday: While the rain is still around the surf looks awesome! No winds all morning and the surf drops down to 1.7m which is a little more suited to beginner skill levels.

Sunday: Pick of the weekend as the sun comes back out and the surf is smaller and more manageable!

Monday: Looks like nice conditions until about mid-late morning when the wind comes in. Early the best bet for a nice beach day.

Tuesday: Sunshine, easterly calm winds, and small-medium size surf. Looks like a great day!

Long range: Looks like some really nice mornings next week until the weekend with some potential weather changes. WIll check back in next week.

Wednesday: Just as suspected the week of good weather begins! Perfect down there today and Wednesday is looking the same. Easterly winds mean flat calm waters, and 1.2m surf makes for perfect small waves.

Thursday: Same as Wednesday. Great wind, great surf, great sunshine!

Friday: Perfect again! Friday we will actually see the surf drop below 1m, this will be great for those who are nervous around waves to build some confidence.

Saturday: Super small surf on Saturday, just in time for some really cruisy weekend sessions. The wind is perfect again and we can expect calm sunny conditions. Great day for confidence building in the ocean and getting comfortable with small waves.

Sunday: Same as Saturday, really perfect conditions with super small waves and great weather!

Monday: Similar to the weekend however we will see the surf pick up slightly to 1m. We also might get a northerly wind by mid morning, nothing too bad but means not completely calm conditions.

Tuesday: Similar to Monday. Good to go.

Long range: Next week looks like Wednesday might be a little stormy but the rest of the week okay. Stay tuned!

Wednesday: Great surf expected! Wind is super light and surf size good at 1.5m, should be heaps of fun!

Thursday: Should be manageable with a bit of bad wind expected but not too strong (only 7 knots). Some rain is due.

Friday: Similar to Thursday however slightly windier and some much bigger surf. Might be more suited to bodyboarding.

Saturday: No sessions as we have our annual surf rescue training.

Sunday: Really nice looking conditions as the surf drops to a size of 1m. This is great for us as too big can be tricky. The wind is blowing a south-east direction, great for calmer waters.

Monday: Again really good weather for the beach and surf. Easterly direction wind and surf under 1m. Great for sessions.

Tuesday: Great again with conditions the same as Monday.

Long range: Next week is looking awesome all week! Finger crossed the weather stays as expected, should be a great week to book in. Sessions will be back on for Saturdays on the 9th!

Wednesday: Beautiful conditions as the cold front leaves us. Great light offshore winds and good size 1.6m surf.

Thursday: Unfortunately no good as another storm will roll through. Huge 2.5m surf and very strong westerly/onshore winds. No sessions.

Friday: Lucky the wind backs off for Friday. Surf will still be big so we will be cautious in the water. Sessions back on.

Saturday: Great weather for those looking to spend Anzac day out and about! Unfortunately we won't be running as it is a public holiday.

Sunday: Really beautiful weather this Sunday! Great wind and good size surf for us. After a week of some windy conditions we can expect the surf to be really nice πŸ˜ƒ

Monday: Again Monday will see Anzac day in lieu so we won't be running any sessions. Probably best as some rain and wind expected.

Tuesday: Looks like a pretty nice morning with light winds and great size surf. Should be lots of fun!

Long range: Wednesday morning next week also looking good so far, on the flip side it unfortunately looks like Thursday might not be great again.

Wednesday: Awesome conditions, Great offshore wind and small 0.9m surf.

Thursday: Awesome conditions again! Same as Wednesday with offshore wind coming straight from the east and 0.9m surf.

Friday: Friday looks okay for now, but we will be on watch and act with the cyclone making its way closer to Perth. Chance of thunderstorms, if there are any we will cancel.

Saturday: Cyclone currently hitting our northern coast will make its way down to Perth. Chance of high winds, large waves, and thunderstorms. No sessions.

Sunday: Cyclone currently hitting our northern coast will make its way down to Perth. Chance of high winds, large waves, and thunderstorms. No sessions.

Monday: Unfortunately while the cyclone should pass it looks to be bringing up a big storm from the south in its wake! No sessions.

Tuesday: Touch and go again. Looks like potentially the storm will hang around. I will keep an eye on it. Could still be a large 2.2m surf and a strong westerly wind.

Long range: Wednesday onwards it looks like the weather should improve. Please be aware we won't run sessions on public holidays.

Wednesday: Warm weather and small surf should be nice. We have wind coming from the north-east. As long as it is mostly coming from the east it should be a nice day.

Thursday: Very similar to Wednesday however the wind will be northerly from about 10am. Only light winds so it won't affect us much, but will make the waves a little messy.

Friday: Same as Thursday, awesome conditions! On Friday we have some volunteers coming from the Stirling Council to show them what Ocean Heroes is all about!

Saturday: Really similar again with north-east winds in the early morning and light northerly winds by mid morning. The waves pick up to 1.2m so it will be a little tricky to surf in bigger waves in those winds. Again though it is looking like light winds, so good to go.

Sunday: Slight change of weather with the temp dropping and the wind turing to a westerly. Again westerly wind isn't usually great, as this means it is coming from the ocean and causes messy waters. Only 4 knots on Sunday tho, so super light and good for us to go :)

Monday: Unfortunately wind turns to a decently strong 12 knot southerly. Messy waters but still okay day to bodyboard.

Tuesday: Slight turn for the better with south-east winds in the morning until about 10am. Surf is a good size 1.1m, not too big or small for us.

Long range: Looks like some bad winds next week until about Sunday. Southerly winds all week with Thursday looking like the best day. Hopefully however this churns up the sand at Brighton Beach and keep the waves from getting too close to shore.

Wednesday: Awesome morning with offshore south-east winds all morning and small size 1m surf. We have some good sandbank...
10/03/2026

Wednesday: Awesome morning with offshore south-east winds all morning and small size 1m surf. We have some good sandbanks that are creating nice waves at the moment.

Thursday: Really great morning again, even better as the wind is coming directly from the east. This will mean flat water. The surf drops to 0.9m, so similar size to Wednesday.

Friday: Same as Thursday, awesome conditions! On Friday we have some volunteers coming from the Stirling Council to show them what Ocean Heroes is all about!

Saturday: AWESOME! We have a good Saturday after a few weeks of bad weather! Great easterly winds and 1.1m surf

Sunday: Another perfect day! Really similar to Saturday, however winds will be lighter so even more calm.

Monday: Really nice in the morning again, although after about 10am the wind will turn southerly causing some slightly messy conditions.

Tuesday: Similar to Monday however the wind is slightly lighter so will be a little better :)

Long range: Next week the wind conditions look great so far! Great winds all mornings.
