🏊 The team have wrapped up a fantastic 2 weeks at Nightcliff Pool Darwin 🏊

Our swim teachers had an absolute ball delivering swimming and water safety lessons to Moil Primary School students, watching confidence grow both in and around the water every day. 🌟

One of the highlights was receiving thank you notes from students, demonstrating their understanding of key water safety messages.
✅Reach to Rescue
✅Float and Wave
✅Never Swim Alone
Having the AQUACODE remembered and retold by students shows just how valuable these programs are. 💙

The team was also spoilt with a few treats and kind words from the schoolteachers. Thank you to everyone who took the time to show our swim teachers appreciation for the work they do!

👏 A special shout out to Cameron from Nightcliff Pool Darwin for his support behind the scenes. From helping us find equipment storage solutions to always lending a hand, Cameron and The Y Northern Territory facilities have played an important role in helping us deliver high-quality swimming and water safety programs for Territory students.

Another successful program. We loved every minute of it and look forward to returning to Nightcliff Pool in 2027! 💦☀️

A great example of a Remote Community Swimming Pool managed well, open to all the community, 6.5 days per week and with a skilled workforce 🛟

Is your remote swimming pool open this wet season?

Despite having the highest drowning rate per capita in Australia, more pools in the Northern Territory are in danger of being closed due to aging infrastructure and workforce shortages.
