1st/2nd Ocean Grove Scout Group Scouting is the largest youth, environmental and peace organisations in the world helping young people develop themselves physically, mentally and emotionally.

Scouts is a youth-led organisation which helps young people from 5 to 15 years old gain resilience, self confidence and social skills. We offer the following programs held at the Recreation Reserve, The Avenue, Ocean Grove

Joeys (6 to 7 1/2 years) - Monday nights 5:00 - 6:00pm
Cubs (8 to 10 years) - Tuesday nights 6:30 - 8:00pm
Scouts (10 1/2 to 15 years) - Wednesday nights 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Ocean Grove Scouts once again had a staggering number of Christmas trees to recycle this year — a wonderful problem to have, as it meant our fundraiser was hugely popular.

That success did leave us with the familiar question: what’s the most cost-effective, environmentally friendly way to recycle them all?

Enter Symal / Sycle to the rescue, once again. They generously donated their services, providing fuss-free delivery, pickup, and recycling of our green waste.

We are extremely grateful for their continued generosity and support. Thank you, Symal / Sycle — you don’t have to, but you do, and it is truly appreciated.

This Saturday is our final Christmas Tree sale for the year — and the Scouts are clearly ready to climb into the festive season!

If your place still needs that fresh-pine magic, come grab a beautiful real tree and support local Scouting at the same time.

Our signs are up, and that means one thing: the Scouts will be back supplying the community with fresh Christmas trees this year!
