We spent the afternoon with the amazingly talented ladies of learning how to weave our very own keychains. It was so wonderful to sit with them and learn a technique that has passed down from mother to daughter for centuries. It's also bloody difficult!! The care and precision taken with each loop of rattan proves how dedicated these artists are to their craft.

Manava is a wonderful example of community empowerment through education.
