On Sunday 7th June, come along and visit us at NSW Government House where we’ll be serving up delicious bacon and egg rolls, sausage sandwiches, and hot and cold drinks.

Enjoy a tour of the House, take a look at the vintage cars, and listen to the bands. An enjoyable day out for the whole family.

We’d like to thank Bunnings - Thornleigh for their continued support of Normanhurst Scouts.

Most recently, they generously donated a number of tables that will be incredibly useful for our fundraising events, BBQs, and Scout programs.

These practical donations make a real difference to our Group and help us continue providing great experiences for our young people.

Today Normanhurst Scouts cooked up and served an incredible 450 sausages on our brand new BBQ.

A huge thank you to Westleigh Village for not only donating the BBQ to our group, but also generously supplying all the sausages, bread, and onions.

Best of all, these sausage sandwiches were completely free for the community to enjoy! It was fantastic to serve so many hungry locals and see our community come together.

Last weekend, in preparation for Dragon Skin, some Normanhurst Venturers went on an overnight walk from Cowan to Brooklyn Dam and onto the Hawkesbury River. Dragon Skin is a 4 day competition hike camp where Venturers hike between overnight stops doing fun and challenging activities along the way.

Westleigh Village are very generously donating a brand new BBQ to Normanhurst Scout Group. To test it out, we will be running at sausage sizzle on Saturday 21st March between 11am and 1pm. They have also donated all of the supplies so the sausage sizzle will be free! Come down and visit us. There will also be hot cross bun tasting and a visit from the Easter Bunny. 🌭🐰

Normanhurst Scouts celebrated the birthday of Lord Baden Powell - the founder of Scouts recently with a family day at Crosslands Reserve.

A number of Youth Members and Leaders were honoured by receiving awards.

Youth Awards:

Pippa - Australian Scout Award (Peak Award for the Scout section),

Eloise - Kings Scout Award (Peak Award for the Venturer Section)

Leader Awardees:

Service Awards - Marvin 20yrs, Bunji 10yrs, Snoops 10yrs, Wobbegong 2yrs, Rosella 2yrs and Kanga 2yrs.

Special Service Award - Katie (our wonderful FUNdraising coordinator.)
