Normanhurst Girl Guides is recruiting for leadership and management positions for 2024. Taking on a volunteer role can be a great way to gain experience to further your professional career. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

๐—จ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜ ๐—Ÿ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ/๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—จ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜ ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ
This role involves working face to face with youth on a weekly basis (Tuesday evenings). Unit Leaders plan and carryout activities based on the Australian Guide Program, Unit Helpers assist Unit Leaders with the provision of these activities.

โ€ข All training, including first aid training, and uniform provided
โ€ข Might suit people studying teaching, childcare, social work etc. who want to gain practical experience whilst studying
โ€ข Opportunities to attending international leadership training and events as you gain experience withing the organisation
โ€ข Must be willing to complete a working with children check and police check (costs associated with this will be paid for)
โ€ข Must be over the age of 18

๐——๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ฟ
A non face to face role that involves management of volunteers, property and fundraising.
โ€ข No management experience required. All training, and uniform provided
โ€ข Might suit someone who is unable to commit to a regular weekly meeting but still wants to give back to the local community
โ€ข Could also suit a retired person who wants to keep active during retirement
โ€ข Must be willing to complete a working with children check and police check (costs associated with this will be paid for)
โ€ข Must be over the age of 18
