Our Scout unit's annual district camp over the Easter weekend was an outstanding success, with West Pennant Hills impressively securing a top-five spot in this engaging event. The camp featured diverse activities such as canoeing, camp craft, oz tag, and the traditional flour fight, promoting a sense of camaraderie and adventure. Well done to the scouts who attended and the leaders who made it possible.

Scouts NSW Water Activities Centre held a professional development course over the Australia Day long weekend, a three day canoe expedition down the Murray River. Three West Pennant Hills leaders attended. Despite the hot weather, we had a great time and learned a lot. Looking forward to helping our Scouts plan and lead lots of paddling expeditions in in the future.

Summer is here and the later sunsets are ideal for twilight paddling. This week Venturers were at Berowra Waters and the Scouts went canoeing at Bobbin Head.

A glorious spring day paddling at Crosslands today where WPH Scouts improved their Outdoor Adventure Skills in flat water canoeing. Leaders also had the opportunity to upgrade their skills and qualifications so they can lead future activities.

West Pennant Hills Scouts and Epping Scouts and a patrol from the New Zealand contingent to form Unit C019 on the Cheeli subcamp at Maryborough, Queensland for . Together with 8000 other scouts and 2000 adult leaders and helpers, we are having a blast of a time!
